Frequently Asked QuestionsQ. How long has AmeriMail been in business? A. AmeriMail was founded in 1985.
Q. What size mailing projects does AmeriMail handle? A. We produce mailings from 500 up to as many as 2,000,000 pieces or more.
Q. How long will it take to complete our project? A. Depending on the size and assembly required, the typical order is completed and in the mail within 3 to 5 business days. We also handle rush orders.
Q. Do I need to set up a Postal permit account with the Post Office? A. No. Approximately 90% of our clients avoid having to set up and manage permit accounts by using our permits for their mailings.
Q. What database formats can AmeriMail handle? A. We can handle virtually any format used in offices and the industry today.
Q. Who do I contact to discuss and check on my projects? A. All new clients are assigned an experienced representative to assist, advise, and will stay in contact with you throughout the entire project. Your customer service representative will remain your contact for your current and all future projects.
Q. Our mailing list is comprised of several lists from different sources. I am concerned about duplicated records and how we can track which source the responses came from? A. Based on the criteria you select, our experienced Data Processing department can affix codes selected by you to each record by list source, merge all data and in the process will purge out duplicate records. This process can also include suppression of particular records. A report may then be generated reflecting counts by code along with a print out sampling of records for your approval. Each record’s source code can then be affixed to your mail piece for tracking purposes.
Q. Can you store my materials for continuous or future mail projects? A. Yes. Our warehouse is climate controlled to guard against elements that can cause damage to your stock.
Q. Can you produce personalized letters with variable information within the body of the text. A. Yes, using your data we can create fields based on the criteria you have selected to print specific information and/or paragraphs directly related to each record in the data. The letters are then produce in black and white or color through laser imaging on our high quality color laser printers. Variable images and signatures can also be generated.
Q. I am unfamiliar with many of the postal regulations, can you help us with mail piece design and postage discounts? A. Absolutely! We will review your mail piece design as well as ensure you obtain the maximum postal discounts possible.
